Jin Xuan – #2027

First created in 1981 by Taiwan’s Tea Research and Experiment Station, Jin Xaun is a quality staple for lovers of Oolong and became known as Milky Oolong for its milky fragrance.

This crop of Jin Xuan is medium bodied with notes of sweet milk, peach and biscuit.

Famed for its milky flavour, Jin Xuan actually requires a little care to bring out these qualities. Lower temperature water will bring out the teas sweet milk qualities, while higher temperatures will bring out the teas more floral qualities.

Standard western-style brewing Instructions –
Brewing vessel: small teapot // Tea: 7 grams // Water: 300ml // Water Temperature: 85 – 90˚C // Possible infusions: 3- 4 // Brewing Time: 5 (rinse)/120/80/140/180 seconds
(Please note that these are only basic guidelines. Many elements can affect the quality of your brew. We recommend finding a method that suits your personal taste.)
